Pallet Flow Rack

Pallet Flow Racking

Storage combined with movement! As its name implies, Pallet Flow Rack Systems not only store inventory, but also function to shift what stock is left - for easy access.

Load from behind, and pick from the front - store a variety of different size and weight containers...the flexibility of these systems allow them to adapt to many different needs.

Flow Storage is made up of two parts: the stationary rack structure and flow rails. The flow rails are a track and roller system set at a slight decline along the length of the rack. Flow rails allow loads to move by gravity from the higher loading end to the lower unloading end. Each flow lane features brakes to gently control the speed of the pallet movement through the flow lanes. As one load is removed, the loads behind it move forward towards the unloading position. The flow system depth, height, and width are all set to best meet your needs and requirements.

ADVANTAGES

  • First-in, first-out (FIFO) inventory control.
  • Reduced handling costs- product is automatically rotated, and no utilities are required
  • Reduced handling equipment costs – Forklifts are only required to load and unload…not move the product
  • Space savings – Vertical, and depth storage saves valuable space
  • Save Construction Costs – reduces need and cost of new or increased facility
  • Reduce Operating Costs
  • Decreased Fork Lift Damage – decreased forklift use = decreased damage to racking
  • Flexibility – Fits into your space – your product, your needs etc.

APPLICATIONS

  • Use when products are used quickly and rotation is critical.
  • Use when labor time and cost are factors.
  • Use when restocking and picking simultaneously is an advantage.
